Infectious diseases in children remain the leading cause of morbidity and mortality. Considering the ever-changing trends of infectious diseases, atypical presentations of diseases, and new emerging infectious diseases, an early clinical diagnosis can be challenging. The book offers a pictorial ready-reckoner for infections, both common and uncommon, encountered by the health care provider in day-to-day practice. There is no known publication, such as Atlas of Pediatric Infectious Diseases in children from a developing country. It provides a rich gallery of spotters in various infectious diseases prevalent in the tropical countries.
