Invited authors, many of them leaders in their country in the government or in health care or both, describe how they defined and analyzed a major problem in their country, assessed possible interventions, acted to implement the interventions, assessed the outcomes and modified their intervention to achieve success. The authors share how their personal experiences, persistence, passion, and principles shapred their efforts and success.
